JESS YOU AND I, BY FEATURE MR JESS, NAMED REMINGTON PARK "HORSE OF THE MEET"

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — JUNE 7, 2010 — Jess You And I, winner of the Grade 1, $250,000 Remington Park Championship on May 29, is the Horse of the Meeting for the 2010 American Quarter Horse & Mixed-breed Season at Remington Park.

Jess You And I added the Remington Park Championship to his triumph in the Grade 1 Bank of America Oklahoma Championship on May 9. Owned by the Double Bar S Ranch of Moreno Valley, Calif. and trained at Remington Park by Toby Keeton, Jess You And I had never competed away from Los Alamitos in southern California in his career before arriving this spring in Oklahoma City. He was ridden in both of his stakes wins here by Tad Leggett.

By winning the Remington Park Championship, Jess You And I received an automatic berth into the $750,000 Champion of Champions at Los Alamitos in December. The 6-year-old California-bred gelding by FEATURE MR JESS from the Tolltac mare Gold Daze won the Champions of Champions in 2008.

Jess You And I was also voted the Champion Older Male for the Remington Park season in balloting among track racing officials and media.

As the voting closed today at Noon, Jess You And I was also the runaway winner in a popularity vote on remingtonpark.com where he had 78% of over 6,200 votes.
