Highly visible year-round at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, JEH Stallion Station was the presenting sponsor of a $20,000 stakes race Saturday at Lone Star. In the JEH Stallion Station Handicap, veteran Quarter Horse Gray Invasion collected the ninth stakes win of his career. Gray Invasion is owned by Claudio Aguilar and trained by Bobby Touchet. Arturo Puga rode Gray Invasion to his first stakes win of the meeting.
November 3 - Poker Feature, a 4-year-old FEATURE MR JESS gelding, finished third in the $301,500 Bank of America Challenge Championship(G1) at Los Alamitos Race Course. Racing for Lawrence Boyd, the brown gelding is trained by Oscar Carrete and was ridden by Esgar Ramirez. Ramich Farms and James E. Helzer are the breeders.
November 3 - Snowy Alibi, a THIS SNOW IS ROYAL gelding, finished third in the Bayer Legend Derby Challenge Championship(G1) at Los Alamitos Race Course. Bred in Texas by Narciso Flores, Snowy Alibi races for D.D. Lightsey. The grade 1 winner is handled by Jane Van Bebber and was ridden by Alfonso Lujan.
November 2 - Stylish Jess Br, a two-year-old FEATURE MR JESS - Stylish Secret, by Dash for Cash filly, finished third in the $1,157,700 Golden State Million Futurity(G1 at Los Alamitos Race Course. Bred by Dr. James Burgess Stylish Jess Br races for Benny Rossett and is trained by Paul Jones. Cody Jensen was aboard for the ride worth $138,924.
