This Snow Is RoyalFEATURE MR JESS, THIS SNOW IS ROYAL Sire Hobbs America Finalist

HOBBS, NM - SEPTEMBER 29, 2007 - JEH Texas Division Stallions were among sires of the ten fastest qualifiers to the $260,000 Hobbs American Futurity and the $137,000 Hobbs America Derby from trails contested on Saturday afternoon at Zia Park. FEATURE MR JESS sired a futurity finalist and THIS SNOW IS ROYAL sired a derby finalist.

The horses with the 10 fastest futurity-trial times and the 10-fastest derby qualifying times became eligible for the finals. The Hobbs America Futurity and the Hobbs America Derby will be run on October 14 at Zia Park.

Mountain Racing's Fear This Feature finished second to the fastest qualifier in the last of five futurity trialraces to post the fifth best clocking of the day.

Feature Mr JessTrained by Carl W. Draper and ridden by Oscar Hernandez, the bay FEATURE MR JESS filly was bred by Ramich Farms and James E. Helzer and is out of the champion mare First Regards. She was also a finalist in the 2007 $2 million All American Futurity on Labor Day.

In thederby trials, Royal Snow 468 finished with the fifth best overall time of the day from two trials. A home-bred owned by Gordon Cox, the THIS SNOW IS ROYAL gelding is trained by Fred Danley and was ridden by Esgar Ramirez.
