In the Dash For Cash Futurity trials, Illegal Memories, son of JEH Stallion ILLEGAL RUNAWAY, was the fastest qualifier of 125 recorded times with his blazing :19.889 in the 400. Thirteen trial races were staged for 2-year-old American Quarter Horses, with the top 10 fastest times earning berths into the upcoming $432,090 final. Illegal Memories, a Texas-bred son of ILLEGAL RUNAWAY out of the LEAVING MEMORIES mare Good Ole memories, will enter the Futurity final with two wins and $80,373 in six career starts. He is owned by Tim Lange and Charlie Forbes and trained by Doug McMullen. Roy Baldillez rode Illegal Memories in last Saturday's trail victory at Lone Star Park.
