Multiple Grade 1 Winner OKEY DOKEY FANTASY To Stand At JEH In 2008
PILOT POINT, TX - SEPTEMBER 27, 2007 - JEH Stallion Station announced today their grade 1 stakes winner Okey Dokey Fantasy will began stallion duties at their Texas Division in 2008.
The son of Champion Okey Dokey Dale will be retired from racing at the end of this season. Last season the bay stallion won nine of 13 races including the Ruidoso Futurity(G1), Manor Downs Futurity(G1), and Longhorn Futurity(G1). He won his first eight starts before finishing off the board in the 2006 $2 Million All American Futurity following a disastrous start at the gate.
Okey Dokey Fantasy ended the season with a second place finish in the $300,000 Southwest Juvenile Championship to grade 1 winner Remember Me Rose.
Okey Dokey Fantasy has earned $558,116 from a record of 9-3-0 from 13 starts. He is expected to compete this fall at Lone Star Park in the Dash For Cash and Texas Classic Derby trials.
His dam is a half-sister to stakes winners Royal Medallion ($120,796), Crazy About Corona ($90,252) and stakes-placed Fast Fontana and Frivolous Fontana. Okey Dokey Fantasy's second dam is a grade 3 stakes winning daughter of Moon Lark and half-sister to Texas Classic Futurity(G1) winner Fast Debonair ($455,658).
