BILL TRACY NAMED MANAGER FOR JEH NEW MEXICO DIVISION

HONDO, NM — NOVEMBER 15, 2009 — Longtime horseman Bill Tracy has been named as manager of JEH Stallion Station's New Mexico Division. He began his duties at the Hondo, New Mexico facility on November 1st.

"We are fortunate to have someone with Bill's experience in the horse industry to be part of our team," Jim Helzer co-owner of JEH Stallion Station-New Mexico said this week.

Tracy served as manager of Oak Tree Ranch, a commercial breeding and sales facility for both Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds in Bandera, Texas, since 1995. Under his care, the ranch has conditioned sales toppers at TQHA Yearling Sale, Fasig-Tipton Texas Yearling Sale and Fasig-Tipton Mixed Sale. Oak Tree Ranch was closed this year following the death of owner Frannie Stewart.

A licensed trainer, Tracy ran a public racing and show stable from1985 through 1995. He also worked as manager of Beall-Harris Farms in Pearsall, Texas and DKG Ranch in Aubrey, Texas. He has conditioned many national and world champion show horses and cattle.

Tracy has been on the board of directors of The Texas Thoroughbred Association for 10 years and was the founder and president of the Texas Thoroughbred Education Fund.

He has worked as past manager of the San Antonio Livestock Show's Southern Sale, Past Director of Texas Appaloosa Horse Club, and Chairman of The Texas Thoroughbred Association Membership Committee. He is a member of the Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers Club and has served as past-president of the Pearsall Texas Rotary Club.

JEH Stallion Station has divisions in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma and currently stands 24 Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred stallions.
