VRRROOM, MIGHTY CORONA TO JEH TEXAS FOR 2010

PILOT POINT, TX— SEPTEMBER 22, 2009 — Grade 2 stakes winner VRRROOM and grade 1 stakes-placed MIGHTY CORONA will begin their stud careers in 2010 at JEH Stallion Station's Texas Division near Pilot Point.

"We are pleased bring these two royally bred first year sires to the public," Andrew Gardiner, JEH General Manager, said on Tuesday. "They will race through the end of the year," he added.

VRRROOM is a full brother to multiple grade 1 winner and grade 1 sire Azoom. He has won or placed in eight of 11 career starts with earnings of $114,777.

Bred by Jerry Windham, the bay stallion owned and raced by Jim & Marilyn Helzer, won the grade 2 Harrah's Entertainment Derby(G2) earlier this year. He closed out his two-year-old campaign with a win over multiple grade 1 winner Hard Hitting in the Los Alamitos Two Million Juvenile Invitational.

VRRROOM was also a finalist in the Ruidoso Futurity(G1) and the Remington Park Derby(G2).

His dam is a full-sister to grade 1 winner and former leading sire Runaway Winner ($369,410). She is the dam of 9 ROM including grade 1 winner Azoom ($738,136) and grade 3 winner Special Crys. The second dam is a stakes-placed daughter of Fast Jet.

VRRROOM will stand for a fee of $1,000.

MIGHTY CORONA won or placed in five of six starts last season while earning in excess of $312,000. The son of all-time leading sire First Down Dash was bred by Julianna Hawn Holt.

He finished second in the Texas Classic Futurity(G1) and was a finalists in the All American Futurity(G1).

Owned by Jim & Marilyn Helzer, MIGHTY CORONA is a full brother to Champion Corona Cash ($1,542,880), grade 1 winner Valliant Hero ($668,633) and stakes winner and multiple stakes sire Corona Czech ($125,759). He is a half-brother to the #2 leading living sire of money earners Corona Cartel ($557,142) and grade 1 stakes-placed Captain Courage ($213,251).

His dam, Corona Chick by Chicks Beduino, was named AQHA Racing's Champion two and three-year-old filly, champion two-year-old and Broodmare of the Year. She is a half-sister to millionaire and two-time champion Corona Kool ($1,296,797)and graded stakes sire Corona Cocktail ($214,718).

MIGHTY CORONA will stand for a fee of $1,500.
