JEH STALLIONS JOIN AVS EQUINE STALLION ROSTER IN FLORIDA TALLAHASSEE, FL — SEPTEMBER 21, 2009 — Three JEH Stallions will move to AVS Equine Hospital near Tallahassee, Florida for the 2010 breeding season. Grade 1 winner OKEY DOKEY FANTASY and grade 1 stakes-placed winners' FIRST DOWN MORN and GET DOWN PERRY will stand the 2010 season in Florida. OKEY DOKEY FANTASY
The son of champion and champion sire Okey Dokey Dale won the 2006 Ruidoso Futurity(G1), Manor Downs Futurity(G1), Longhorn Futurity(G2) and was second in the Southwest Juvenile Championship. He was also a finalist in the All American Futurity(G1). At three he was a finalist in the Rainbow Derby(G1), Sunland Park Winter Derby(G2) and 6666 Ranch Handicap. OKEY DOKEY FANTASY's second dam is the grade 3 stakes winning Moon Lark mare Fontana Beaujolais, a half-sister to Texas Classic Futurity(G1) winner Fast Debonair and the dam of grade 3 winner Royal Medallion and stakes winner Crazy About Corona, etc. Owned by Jim and Marilyn Helzer, his first foals are yearlings of 2010. FIRST DOWN MORN's second dam Frosty Straw-TB is a half-sister to grade 3 stakes winner Matching ($532,263), and Trippy Dip-TB, the dam of champions Florentine and Calyx. He is out of the champion three-year-old/three-year-old filly Royal Down Dash ($405,384), by First Down Dash.
