TRES SEIS, CORONA FOR ME SIRE YAVAPAI QH FUTURITY(G3) FINALISTS
PRESCOTT, AZ — AUGUST 22, 2009 — JEH Stallions sired two of the ten finalists on Saturday to the $75,000-estimated Yavapai Downs Quarter Horse Futurity-G3.
The ten qualifiers from four trials run at Yavapai Downs on Saturday afternoon will return September 6th to contest the 400 yard final.
Streakin Coronas won the last trial 1/2 length to post the third fastest time of :20.019 seconds. Racing for her his breeder Deb Copenhaver Fellows, the TRES SEIS gelding was saddled by Raul Hernandez and ridden by Vince Guerra.
Love For Me, a CORONA FOR ME filly owned by was 2 3/4 length winner in the second trial. Her time of :20.087 seconds was the fourth fastest. Owned and trained by Gerardo Ochoa-Pena, she was bred in Texas by Blanca Julia Corella.
