TRES SEIS, FEATURE MR JESS RUNNERS SET TOP TIMES IN ALL CANADIAN CLASSIC

AJAX, ONT — AUGUST 22, 2009 — Roger Girard's Watch Me If You Can scored a one length win in the last of three trials for the $50,000-added All Canadian Classic on Saturday afternoon at Ajax Downs.

The ten fastest qualifiers from Saturday's trials will return to contest the 350 yard finals.

Saddled by Clinton Crawford, Watch Me If You Can covered the 350 yards in :17.530 seconds to chalk up the fastest time of the day. The 4-year-old TRES SEIS gelding was ridden by Jesse Daigrepont.

Casino Nights, already a stakes winner this season at Ajax Downs held off Chicks Feature Jess in the second trial to win by a nose. The pair was awarded the co-second fastest clocking of :17.630.

Chicks Feature Jess races for Peter and Craig Spada and trained by Barry Wood. Brian Bell was aboard the FEATURE MR JESS 4-year-old horse that is 0-2-2 from seven tries this season.
