JEH NEW MEXICO THOROUGHBRED ROSTER BOASTS TWO BREEDERS' CUP RUNNERS
Grade III stakes winner ATTILA'S STORM was a two-time finalist in the TVG Breeders' Cup Sprint(G1). One of the nation's top sprinters he was first or second at the ¼ pole in 11 of his 18 races while being clocked in 21 and change seven times.
ATTILA'S STORM won or placed in 13 of 18 starts including eight stakes. An earner of $534,983 he won the Toboggan H.(G3) and Fall Highweight Handicap, was second in the Malibu Stakes(G1), Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap(G2) and Paumonok Handicap. He was also third in the Vosburgh Stakes(G1), Forego Stakes(G1) and Palos Verdes Handicap(G2).
His sire, Forest Wildcat a deceased son of leading sire Storm Cat, has sired earners of more than $36,000,000 including Horse of the Year in Puerto Rico D'Wildcat Speed and millionaire Wild Game ($1,198,486).
ATTILA'S STORM's dam is the Magesterial mare Sweet Symmetry who hails from the family of grade III winners Sun Master ($607,952) and Synocopate ($529,209).
A New Mexico-Bred and Breeders' Cup nominated stallion, his first foals are weanlings of 2009. He stands for a fee of $3,500.
MINISTER ERIC, a grade II stakes winner of $562,771, was second in the Bessemer Trust Breeders' Cup Juvenile(G1) as a two-year-old.
The 2001 son of Old Trieste won or placed in nine of 13 career starts winning the San Fernando Breeders' Cup Stakes and was also second in the Del Mar Futurity(G2). He was also a finalist in the Kentucky Derby(G1) and Malibu Stakes(G1).
MINISTER ERIC is out of the multiple stakes producing Deputy Minister mare, Musical Minister, who is a half sister to grade III winners Pico Teneriffe ($583,648) and Salmon Ladder ($285,719) and stakes winner Capote's Prospect ($131,605). His third dam is the stakes winning and multiple stakes producing Northern Dancer mare Aladancer ($191,135).
MINISTER ERIC's first crop are yearlings of 2009 and he stands for $2,500. He is a New Mexico-Bred Stallion and Breeders Cup Nominated.
JEH New Mexico is also home to the GEN STORMIN'NORMAN, a son of Storm Cat who from a limited number of starters has sired four stakes horses with average earnings per starter of more than $22,000.

The final stallion in the JEH New Mexico Thoroughbred roster for 2009 is ELIJAH'S SONG, a winning son of leading sire Unbridled's Song.
His sire earned more than $1,311,800 while counting the Breeders' Cup Juvenile(G1) among his many stakes victories. In the stallion barn he has been equally successful with foals earning in excess of $50,000,000 including Breeders' Cup Distaff(G1) winner Unbridled Elaine ($1,770,740). His dam is the grade 1 stakes winning mare Toda Una Dama and earner of $441,150 in the United States.
ELIJAH'S SONG's first foals are yearlings of 2009 and he is a New Mexico Bred Stallion. He stands for a fee of $1,000 in 2009.
