JEH NEW MEXICO THOROUGHBRED ROSTER BOASTS TWO BREEDERS' CUP RUNNERS
ATTILA'S STORM won or placed in 13 of 18 starts including eight stakes. An earner of $534,983 he won the Toboggan H.(G3) and Fall Highweight Handicap, was second in the Malibu Stakes(G1), Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap(G2) and Paumonok Handicap. He was also third in the Vosburgh Stakes(G1), Forego Stakes(G1) and Palos Verdes Handicap(G2). His sire, Forest Wildcat a deceased son of leading sire Storm Cat, has sired earners of more than $36,000,000 including Horse of the Year in Puerto Rico D'Wildcat Speed and millionaire Wild Game ($1,198,486). ATTILA'S STORM's dam is the Magesterial mare Sweet Symmetry who hails from the family of grade III winners Sun Master ($607,952) and Synocopate ($529,209). A New Mexico-Bred and Breeders' Cup nominated stallion, his first foals are weanlings of 2009. He stands for a fee of $3,500.
The 2001 son of Old Trieste won or placed in nine of 13 career starts winning the San Fernando Breeders' Cup Stakes and was also second in the Del Mar Futurity(G2). He was also a finalist in the Kentucky Derby(G1) and Malibu Stakes(G1). MINISTER ERIC is out of the multiple stakes producing Deputy Minister mare, Musical Minister, who is a half sister to grade III winners Pico Teneriffe ($583,648) and Salmon Ladder ($285,719) and stakes winner Capote's Prospect ($131,605).
