FEATURE MR JESS FROZEN SEMEN AVAILABLE IN CALIFORNIA, COLORADO
PILOT POINT, TX—JANUARY 22, 2009—Through an agreement with Burns Ranch and Royal Vista Equine frozen semen to the #2 Leading Sire of Money Earners in 2008, FEATURE MR JESS, will be available to breeders in California and Colorado.
Jim Helzer and J.E. Jumonville, owners of FEATURE MR JESS, announced today they will send frozen semen to Dr. Steve Burns in Menifee, California and to Vaughn Cook in Fort Collins, Colorado to accommodate owners who are unable to ship their mare to Texas.
Mare owners will still need to book their mares through JEH Stallion Station-Texas.
FEATURE MR JESS is recovering from foot surgery last fall and limited breedings are available through frozen semen for 2009.
The champion son of Mr Jess Perry sired 11 stakes winners in 2008 with earnings of $4,005,573. Among his 2008 grade 1 stakes winners were Jess You And I, winner of the Champion of Champions; and Heartswideopen who won the Ruidoso Derby(G1) and Rainbow Derby(G1); Stylish Jess Br, winner of the Mildred N Vessels Memorial Handicap(G1) and Brenda Beautiful, winner of the Southwest Juvenile Championship(G1) .
