CORONA FOR ME Filly Wins Debut By 2-1/2 At Sunland Park

SUNLAND PARK, NM - MARCH 27, 2008 - Reacorona, a two-year-old by first year sire CORONA FOR ME won her debut at Sunland Park on March 18th.

Out of the Dash Ta Fame mare, The Rainbow Rea, the brown filly covered the 300 yard $20,000 maiden race in :15.05 seconds to earn a speed index of 98. She won by 2-1/2 lengths under wraps and picked up the first place money worth $12,000.

Owned and bred by Dennis Jensen, the filly is trained by Wes Giles and was ridden by Tony Guymon.

CORONA FOR ME is a Grade 1 stakes-placed winner of $375,718. He won the Los Alamitos Million Futurity (G1), but was placed second for interference. He was 3rd in the Sgt. Pepper Feature Handicap (G3) and was a finalist in the Los Alamitos Super Derby (G1), and Golden State Futurity (G1).
